The Dominion is a major galactic political power based in the Gamma Quadrant, whose influence is exerted over thousands of planets there. It was created by the Changelings, a species of shapeshifters native to a rogue planet within the Omarion Nebula, who refer to themselves as "The Founders." The Dominion's subject worlds are kept in check by Vorta administrators and formidable Jem'Hadar soldiers.
The Dominion Characters in STO
Since the release of Victory is Life, players can create a Jem'Hadar character. Regardless of other characters on that account, Jem'Hadar characters start at level 60. Like other factions' characters, Dominion players must choose a career (analogous to a 'class' from other MMORPGs) and a species (or race). Neither can be subsequently altered. Later, when the player reaches a higher rank, a starship must also be selected, which can, however, be changed at any time.
Win daily prizes
Each day of the event, everyone who takes part in at least one event will receive a daily reward from our stock of prizes, an example of which is listed below. The prizes are drawn at random by Google over Discord.
Earn your "Shattered Mirror" Badge
If you take part in at least one mission in the event you will receive your Shattered Mirror Badge.
Uniforms Bonus
For this mission, an extra uniform bonus will apply for wearing a mirror uniform. This is particularly easy to apply in the tailor with a single click for you and your bridge officers. There are a few versions of the mirror uniform and all are acceptable for this event. The uniform bonus is equal to 150,000 MRP.
Each event will start with a briefing and take place from a given location relevant to the mission being played, this will either be Deep Space 9, ESD, or a starship bridge.
Feel free to RP in chat any questions you have at the briefing for each mission. The time is also given in the UK timezone. We will try to stick to the time limits where possible but some variation is to be expected.
Note, there are no repeat missions for the whole six days, so all missions will be treated as mission replays in that dialogue and cut-scenes will not be skipped. MRP will be earned as normal in all missions, DPS league missions will be logged as normal.
How to take part and overall Bonuses
Any character can take part in the event but bonuses will only be awarded to Mirror characters and Mirror Ships. In order to fully enjoy all aspects of the event, it would be advisable to have a level 65 character.
